Description
This is a 1:3 scale model of the Mercedes-AMG W14 E Performance driven by Lewis Hamilton and George Russell for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team during the 2023 Formula One season. Constructed of fiberglass and finished in black with Petronas decals and green stripes, the replica features front and rear wings, Pirelli-branded tires, a cockpit halo, a racing harness, and a multifunction steering wheel.
Development of the W14 was led by James Allison, chief technical officer of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team. The car was piloted by Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. Over the course of the 2023 season, the team earned eight podium finishes.
This 1:3 scale replica was constructed with fiberglass and is finished in black with green and white Petronas lettering. Sponsor logos include AMD, INEOS, IWC, Snapdragon, Solera Holdings, and TeamViewer. Additional details include a multi-plane front wing, sculpted side pods, a rear wing, a cockpit halo, dual side mirrors, intakes and vents, and a central engine-air intake. Areas of wrinkled carbon-fibre-style vinyl wrap are visible around the model.
Simulated carbon covers the flat-face-style wheels, and the rubber tires are decorated to resemble Pirelli P Zero racing slicks with medium-compound yellow markings. Modelled suspension arms and braking ducts are covered in carbon-effect wrap.
The cockpit simulates a fixed-back bucket seat and a multifunction steering wheel. The model measures roughly 74″ long by 32″ wide by 16″ tall.
Blue #63 and yellow #44 decals are included.
